PRIORITY BOARDING to Premier at Astoria Film Festival

The Astoria (NY) Film Festival has selected PRIORITY BOARDING, my 10-minute short film, to make its worldwide premier on June 11, 2023. In this comedy satire, hilarity ensues as ultra-woke Gamma Airlines fumbles repeatedly in the execution of its commitment to give priority boarding status to historically marginalized groups -- people with disabilities, women seeking abortions, the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, and even passengers named Karen. This highly regarded Festival takes place in the Kaufman Arts District in Astoria (Queens) New York, one of the early centers of the American film industry and the original home of Paramount Studios. Today, Kaufman Astoria Studios and the Museum of the Moving Image help Astoria retain its vibrancy within the film industry in the 21st century.
